This mornings election headlines are proclaiming there was no "red wave." However, it is very likely Republicans have flipped enough congressional seats to take control of the House of Representatives. One of those seats is New Jersey's 4th Congressional District. Where a rematch between Democrat Tom Malinowski and Republican Tom Kean Jr. has resulted in an apparent win for the son of former Governor Tom Kean. Malinowski narrowly won against Kean in 2020. Now Kean has turned the tables. Just after midnight NBC News declared Kean the winner. With 99 percent of the vote in Kean leads Malinowski by about 12,000 votes. While Kean declared victory late last night. Malinowski has not yet conceded saying the race was still too close to call.
