Odell Beckham Jr. had to be escorted off an American Airlines plane by police in Miami yesterday morning. The plane was already on the runway and the flight crew had to taxi back to the terminal and remove all passengers from the plane before police could walk Beckham off the plane. He left the plane calmly. The former New York Giant fan favorite was taken to a secure area of the airport and made arrangements for a different flight.
Police said members of the flight crew called Miami Fire and Rescue after Beckham appeared to be going "in and out of consciousness" and could not fasten his seat belt. The flight from Miami to Los Angeles is 5 hours and the flight crew feared the NFL All Star was "seriously ill and that his condition would worsen" once the flight got into the air.
Later in the day a Twitter post from Beckham seemed to be a response to the incident. The post said "Never in my life have I experienced what just happened to me. Seen it all." He misspelled the word "all" in the post.
