A few years ago We' Ani was a competitor on The Voice when she was 17. She was good then but she's great now. This season on American Idol she's been impressing all three judges. Sunday Night she made it into the final 8 with a stunning rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing." Katy Perry has already said she has the potential to be a "superstar." After watching her performance of "I Have Nothing" Sunday Night Lionel Richie said "You owned it." We' Ani was born in Harlem and grew up in Patterson.
