Thank You Lionel Sternberger for inventing my favorite food. Back in 1926 Lionel was a 16 year old short order cook working in Pasadena, California when he decided to add a slice of cheese to a fresh burger. Billions of cheeseburgers have been consumed ever since. Today is National Cheeseburger Day! Many restaurants that serve them have great deals. At Applebee's you can enjoy a cheeseburger and fries for $8.99. Of course, McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King are celebrating too. To get their deals you'll have to order on their app. At Wendy's you can get a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for a penny with any purchase all week long. McDonald's has double cheeseburgers for only 50 cents. Burger King's deal is one free cheeseburger for Royal Perks members with a purchase of one dollar or more.
