The waters off the coast of New Jersey have surely gotten cleaner over the past 20 years. It's sad when we hear about someone who is indifferent to all the progress made. The chief engineer of a Greek owned oil tanker just admitted to discharging the contents of the ships sewage holding tank over board about 12 miles off the coast of New Jersey. Federal Prosecutors announced 57 year old Konstantinos Atsalis will be sentenced in October. The illegal dumping happened two years ago in waters near the petroleum terminal in Woodbridge.
