My "Time to visit the snakes" Weekend in Pictures

Space Farms is a great place to visit with the family any day. Junior Zookeeper's Day happens only once a year and it's added fun. The zookeeper's take families around the zoo for up close demonstrations and fun. The whole idea is to make visitors see what goes into taking care of the animals at the zoo all year long. Even when Space Farms is closed. My favorite event to watch is feeding the tigers and lions. This year I actually got to participate. Of course helping Parker Space with his snake lecture in the snake den has become an annual tradition. I'm actually getting better at this every year. Check out the pictures here and the full video on our WSUS Facebook page. On a totally unrelated note I got brave again this weekend and tried something new to eat. Garbanzo Beans are good for you and really delicious! I boiled them and added some butter. My grandson also provided a little more comedy yesterday. He wants to be a fireman when he grows up. In the meantime he doesn't mind being nanny's hairstylist. I hope you enjoy all the pictures below.
