Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta is part of a statewide effort to get much needed supplies to victims of hurricane Helene. Operation Lift Line hopes to load more than one million pounds of supplies onto 18 wheelers and planes to get them where they are needed the most. There s an urgent need for baby bottles, diapers and formula. There is also an urgent need for supplies to clean up after the devastation including: gallon trash bags, work gloves and masks, liquid laundry detergent, hand held can openers, portable phone chargers, new pillows and pillow cases. Some other needed items non perishable food and snacks, hygiene items, towels, blankets, 5 gallon buckets and paper products. The Knights of Columbus and Loyola Jesuit Center are coordinating Operation Lift Life One. Please help if you can. Donations are being accepted now.
