Vernon Electrician Sentenced in New York for Hiding Camera in Shower

A Vernon electrician that's currently serving three years in a New Jersey prison for hiding a camera in a customer's shower has been sentenced in New York for a similar crime. According to NJ.com, Joseph Krenicky admitted to installing a camera in a Chester woman's bathroom and recording her in the shower.

The 49-year-old's New York sentence of one to three years will run concurrent with his New Jersey sentence. He will also have to register as a sex offender in NY.

Krenicky was arrested in NJ after a Wantage man went to take a shower in his bathroom that was under construction and saw a black box labeled "power bank." The box was hidden among tools and facing the shower. When the unnamed man inspected it he found a Micro SD card in it and concluded it was a "spy camera."
